Oil seal hasgenerally the function of retaining a fluid, preventing its leaking.The outside has to ensure a fixed-fitting in the seat and its tightness.Thanks to its specific profile together with the radial force appliedby the spring and the characteristics of the elastomer, the sealing lipflows on the shaft creating a barrier that prevents the leakage of thefluid both in static and dynamic condition. Every Athena oil seal is inaccordance with the DIN 3760 requirements. Oil seals are available indifferent sizes, shapes and dimensions.
